Clinical billing web system with roles (Cashier, Supervisor, Admin) and metrics dashboard: converts clinic invoices to PDF (multiple formats and fiscal series) to the standard schema required by the electronic invoicing provider, with a two-step AI pipeline optimized by cost.
The Challenge
Clinics issue invoices in different formats depending on the type of service, each with its own fiscal rules. We needed to extract them from PDFs and reliably translate them into the format required by the fiscal provider, without relying on manual typing or risking source errors slipping into the final invoice. The clinic team (cashiers, supervisors, administration) also needed a real web interface to operate the system day to day, not just an automatic background process.
The Solution
A system that receives the invoice as a PDF, recognizes the format, and decides on its own which fiscal scheme to translate it into based on the type of service and its own rules, without anyone having to type anything manually. Before spending on the most expensive processing, it discards what does not apply with a quick, cheap review. On top of all that, cashiers, supervisors, and administration have their own interface to handle day-to-day operations, each seeing only what corresponds to them.
